Welcome to the historic port town of Obama in the lovely verdant valley of Wakasa, deep in southern Fukui prefecture. Enveloped in unspoiled nature our town is home to a collection of some of Japan's oldest and most beautiful temples, traditional Machiya townhouses, and a thriving small town community fabric that's still fully in tact.
